yea, its not worth it unless your server is really good, otherwise might as well get a dedicated server.... wait. Why am I posting here? you are my customer,

Co-Locating has the big advantage that the customer can have a box build to his own specs. I personally prefer RAID5 setup and a few other things that you usually don't get when leasing a dedicated server.

If you have the technical capabilities, colocation can be a great way to get and configure things exactly the way you want. You also still get the benefit of someone else (an expert) monitoring the network. Then all you need to do is worry that the servers are running properly.
