Well Rackshack is a subdivision of EV1 ... EV1 is known for dialup internet. Rackshack has become the #1 dedicated server host with like 17,000 servers in their facility.

What im thinking is that because of the popularity of Rackshack and the trend of people moving toward broadband and away from dialup has made EV1 decide to associate the success of RackShack with EV1 more closely now.

Just an idea anway... Personally I dont think its really a good move to rebrand something successful like that. Too much confusion.

I agree with your logic of WHY they did it - but I also agree with your logic of thinking its a mistake to rebrand something that already has a established name.

I think rackshack sounds better... and it was such a well-known brand.

I just remembered something...

Rackshack.com is not owned by EV1... This time around they have both the .net and .com

I always end up at the .com somehow
