Reliable multiple domain hosting

Can anyone recommend a reliable multiple domain hosting service? It doesn't have to be a reseller oriented service (our clients won't have any direct contact with their accounts), but that type of service would probably work.

We're having significant problems with our current host -- extremely unreliable FTP service (often barely works), and sluggish web server.

I'm looking for Unix/Linux, Apache, PHP, Perl, MySQL, SSH/telnet, etc. Unlimited domains for a flat fee, 500+ MB storage, 1gig+ transfer. In the $50 per month range.

Reliability and good performance are essential.

Please only suggest a service that you have personal experience with, that you do not work for.

Thanks,
JMM

I have had an account with MCHOST for 2 months. Some people have had so/so service. Mine has been flawless.

1GB space
25GB bandwidth
Unlimited Domains
CPANEL5
LINUX Redhat 7.3
$35/month

This was my first venture to try to consolidate all of my clients onto one plan so I could generate re-curring hosting fees, etc. The migration went well and so far I have been very satisfied.

Thanks for the recommendation. It looks like they don't provide FTP though, is that right? I guess I should have mentioned FTP as one of the required features, but I never imagined that hosting company would provide the other features I listed and not FTP.

thehostingcompany.us

600mb space
20gb bandwidth
$14/month

the only thing i don't like is they give you only one mysql database. Also i'm not sure about perl, i think they have it.

Have you used their service? Can you tell me for about how long and what kind of experience you've had?

One MySQL database definitely wouldn't be enough for my needs, but if that plan is $14 I'm imagining that maybe they have a more expensive plan with more features (e.g. more databases.).

look into neureal.com

awesome prices...space and bandwidth are ok for the price.

you can have up to 10 domains and unlimited subdomains.

If you don't like their prices, do a search on google for "hsphere ISP" ....because Hsphere is the interface to manage all the domains, which is the best one I've seen in the past 5 years.

(it's all linux based too....the only way to go!)

Thanks for the suggestion, but have you actually used their services? Most hosting services look good on paper, but as I said in my original post I'm only interested in recommendations for services that people have actual, positive experience with.

Also, 10 domains is a far cry from unlimited, which I mentioned as one of my requirements.

P.S. hsphere has nothing to do with anything -- that's just an implementation detail.

Yes, I am currently using Neureal.com

I like the easy to use interface of hsphere...for multiple domains.

They do have a package for unlimited domain hosting, just click on the "products" link from their homepage.

I haven't had any problems yet, and they are inexpensive.
