Does Devshed seriously allow this kind of spamming? I mean, you're not even answering anyone's question... Just curious. I haven't seen any website forums out there that would allow a post like this.

They don't restrict it, and it goes along with the forum description. I wouldn't call it spam either, since it is a forum about web hosting.

A forum about webhosting, not a forum for advertising... I can see if someone said "hey where can I find a host that offers this plan for this amount of money" and they replied saying "well we offer this plan for this amount of money" or someone else replied saying "Host X offers this plan for this amount of money" but starting your own thread unininstigated simply to advertise your hosting company is kind of a sign of a desperate hosting company to me... and not someone that I would trust my sites with.

Anyway, try starting a thread like this in any of the other tech forums out there and see how fast they ban your IP #...

AmazingTechs, the A-Holes that they are, deleted my account within 12 hours of registering for simply having the name "reallynicehosting" as my username. They said that "it was a DIRECT ATTEMPT at spamming their message boards" and that I "surely saw the event coming that they would ban me for that name" which I thought was not only pathetic but conceded about their boards, which aren't that great. And the worst part was that I wasn't even advertising I was actually posting a reply to someone's question that was helping them, and it had nothing to do with hosting and neither did my answer. I didn't even have anything in my signature either...

It was reluctantly agreed upon here quite sometime ago that it would be better to allow someone to come in here and post ONCE what they offered with limited updates then to have 50 hosts respond to each post requesting information. It makes much more sense.

There are 2 reasons many forums don't allow this. 1) The host of the site offering the forum doesn't allow it in the service agreement (most don't allow advertising, paid or not, for other hosts, and would consider it advertising as you have), 2) the people running the board have a hair up their a$$.

Also, it has become quite revealing to have some hosts come here to advertise and suffer great scrutiny by many of the members here who ACTUALLY KNOW what is what and get called on it. That kind of info is VERY helpful to noobs who might not know better.
