Review of Roboticalworld.com host

I was looking for a good, reliable, cheap host that would give me shell access. One of the owners of roboticalworld approached me with an offer and I accepted as it was priced lower than I had seen elsewhere.

The signup process was a breeze, and took about 5 mins. I paid through Paypal. Near the end of the setup, I needed to modify my domain name server listing with my registrar. However, I couldn't remember my account number at godaddy (my reigistrar) so I couldn't modify the DNS listing. I was assured by the owner that it didn't matter, and the DNS would be updated. I wasn't so sure, but he promised me a money back guarantee so I went ahead.

After 5 days the DNS didn't update, so I asked for a full refund. The owner obliged immediately and refunded my money through PayPal.

So, all in all it was easy to work with robotical host and they gave me no static on the refund. However, I cannot effectively rate the hosting service itself since i never progressed that far.

BTW, I'm still looking for a host, but I still haven't been able to get my account number since the email address I used to register isn't valid anymore.

You will need to phone GoDaddy and go through the process of changing your domain. You should do that first before finding any hosting.
