Thumbs up Staghosting - Free MySQL,PHP,FTP webspace

A top free hosting site is @ http://www.staghosting.com/
No pop up banners either! Has everything you need to get a nice website up and running.

The only condition is that you link from your site to the providers site in order to get more hits from search engines in the future. make sure you read the terms before complaining.

Account features are listed @ http://www.staghosting.com/?page=features

The guy running it, Steve, is pretty good bloke and can provide limited technical support via ICQ if needed.

Blimey - when did that happen !!
The guy was saying he wanted to get more people signedup and then goes and does that? Weird.

Have you tried emailing staghosting to see what is going on? The service is running as a mate and I are both using the service.

There was a few sign-up issues I noticed and reported, wonder if he has frozen signups because of that? hmm, weird.

Anyway - I'll check up with him this evening if possible to see what is going on.

Now it says:
"Signups closed due to abuse of this service. They will reopen shortly"

The guy has had loads of timewasting people ****ing about. However if you are really wanting to use the free webspace properly you can sign up via the back door URL to StagHosting .

Enjoy if you are serious

All he asks is that you leave the small links on the index page so that any search engines will find their way to his sites. You can even have the links in the same colour as your page background if you don't want them visible to visitors - that's okay.
