Strange problem, please help!

Hi all, I wasn't sure where to put this question

this question might sound odd, but here is my situation. I just finished a complete website redesign for a client, and was asking friends to take a look once I replaced the old website with it. This worked fine for *everyone* except one friend who viewed it from her office. For some reason, when she views the site she sees the old version of it that no longer even exists on the server. I hit refresh multiple times, and emptied her browser cache. Still it persists although it loads unusually slow. She works for a goverment organization who I believe is their own ISP and is hooked up to complicated WANs etc... My suspicion is that even though her local machine is free of old cache, her http requests are being fed with a cached version somewhere else on their system.... Is something like this possible? Is it a way of protecting them from direct internet access?

The result was the same from any computer in that office too. AND even stranger is that it only was messed up when the "www." was left in the address.. Remove the www and site displays my new version! Bizarre

If anyone has any insight into what might be at fault here, I'd GREATLY appreciate it.. i'd like to think my site works For any interested the link is www.rdks.bc.ca

Thanks!

It is possible that if he/she is accessing it from work then they might be using a Proxy Server. This server will store sites content in cache, depending on the company that cache can be stored for 30 days. You should have them check with there local network admin to see if they have it setup this way.
