thoughts on... netacore? hostway? others?

I'm currently working with netacore for server space.

I have a client who might be interested in Hostway as well...

I haven't been doing the netacore thing for long, but as I have more contracts on the table, and am attracting more clients, I will obviously need a 'good' host to bring business to...

Any one else have experience w/ netacore or hostway? Any advice? pitfalls? is there a better solution out there than these 2 for cost-effectiveness & features?

I use netacore as one of my hosts, and in general it's pretty good. They had their problems about a month ago, but I think now it's sorted out. Support is good and they recompile apps for you if you provide good reasons. All in all I would recommend them. Haven't done any business with hostway, so can't help there.

Thusfar I've liked Netacore, but lately they have been intolerably slow in responding to questions, getting account info back to me after I've sent them money online... just turning into a regular pain in the arse.

Here's a good question - do you have a PHONE number for Netacore? I've tried directory service, but howard beach NY doesn't have a Netacore or Norm Sherman listed... I would REALLY like to call them up and find out whats going on over there!

No, never had need in live support. Sorry things are bad on your side of the road though. I'm on router, and afaik this is their mainstream server and works fine, may be other 3 or 4 had problems. Not sure. Have you tried their board? If not norm then someone with account might be able to help...
