Value of Customers
Im just curious, not looking to sell, but may look to aquire. What do you value your customers at. If your customers revenue, for example, is $1000 per month, what would you charge to buy out your customer base?

Depends on the owner. If the owners all about making $$$ and shouldn't be in the hosting business then they will go for the top dollar. If they are not they would contact other companies they know are reliable and will work a deal.

People have offered to sell their hosting company's to me in the past. It all depends on the quality of the customers, their billing (monthly, annually, etc), and numerous other things. Some offers I have received are 3 years worth of profits other times a few months worth of profits. You really should research the company thoroughly before deciding to buy or bidding. Keep in mind that there is a huge difference between buying a company and buying a company's assets.
