web hosting

Hi

I'm a newbie when it comes to hosting a web site. I've designed a couple which have been hosted on other peoples already set up servers. I would like to find a reasonably cheap reliable host preferably based in the UK.

Does anyone know of any good hosts?
I'm a relatively poor individual and don't really want to pay upwards of £30-40 a year.
