Hello Devshed visitors...
I am writing a proposal for a class to choose a webhosting plan between four competing companies. It is for a ficticious pharmaceutical company called Elliott, whose cancer fighting drug the FDA has approved (scenario). I have to look a options that each company offers, etc.
My question is: How do I pick from such a huge group of companies four which I can compare? Also, what do you think would be some of the absolute requirements of the pharma comp.? Thank you all for your input in advance!
PS: Any links to sites are welcomed!

You need to define what is important to your requirements.
With this information it would help you a little more.
What e-mail set-up is needed?
What amount of webspace/bandwidth?
What security do you need?
Do you need SSL?
Where is your target audience?
What level of support do you need?
What is the website going to be written in?
Do you need a backend database, if so what amount of data?
Send out standard e-mails to the companies selected. See how long it takes for a reply.
Find out what sort of information they give you
Don't always look at price, the level of response you get should go along way
