What do you look for in a host?
I know many of us have different things that we want out of our web hosting. What do you look for when you are ordering web hosting? Is it reliability? Fast support? Cheap prices?

Hello,
You should look for everything which is important to you - uptime, support, technologies, disk space, hardware, software, location, price etc...

It is essential to find the perfect combination of features in a web host. In order to find the best web host; one must consider these factors:
Uptime offered
Technical support offered
Latest technologies are used or not
Customized solutions
Processors used
Server Monitoring
Pricing

For me personally I look for price, uptime, quality of customer service, hardware replacement SLA time and location of the data center. I usually try a host out on the cheapest plan possible to test customer support level before choosing a plan / server that I really need.

What I would look for in a web host would b a mixture of reliable service with a mixture of cost and minimal restrictions. Most impotent factor to me is seeing customers reviews of the company.

A lot of web hosts offer 24/7 support, but I want to know if there is a human awaiting for to solve my questions. I also want to know that they have a brain and won't just read from script, offer stock answers. I would definitely check their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th level tech support to check whether they just yells that “I don't have a clue about your concern issue and stay me on hold while they Google the answer”...

When you buy "Cheap" web hosting, don't expect too much. It's always better to pay a little more fora bigger, more established Host. This way you get customer service(Live people) and Tech support. In the end you will be much happier with your service because you basically get what you pay for, and good providers are not CHEAP.

Technical and online support is must first of all. Talking about features, i say that unlimited bandwidth, Cpanel to setup the technologies in website easily and Guide if there would be something complicated. Uploading speed should be good, previously i have experienced slow uploading speed but since im using hosting services from http://up.biz there is no problem at all. Everything goes so smoother that im happy with their services.
