Cool

Real *unlimikted webspace and/or bandwidth* doesn't exist at all. Most websites don't occupy more than 10 MB space and consume more than one or two hundred MB bandwidth per month. So unlimited is only a marketing slogan utilized by some host companies to get more people to sign up.

If your site acturely consumes large bandwidth a month, it will ask you transfer your site out within certain days or your sites will be removed by it.

Let's go back to reality. Check URL

300 MB web space
10 GB monthly data transfer
Unlimited POP3 email accounts and autoresponders
Advanced control panel
MySQL database, SSL secure server and shopping cart
CGI, FTP, telnet, PHP, FP extensions and all features you want...

It is priced at $24.95 a month, which looks a little bit higher than some cheap web hosts' plans. But it would pay you $10 commission for each account you referred. It would be free by referring three accounts.

You are paid $10 not only for the first month like most hosts do, but also for your life as long as your referred account is active, staying with the company.

Should everyone get three referrals, everyone will stay with the host, so $10 per referral account can be accumulated into big bulks from long haul.

I have joined it only one and half month, and now been already on *free drive* with a small profit. What would happen if I stay with it for one, two, or three years? What would happen if ten years? Think of it!!

That is all very nice - but I think you forget to mention that the $10 are per month - so you would have to refer between 2 and 3 ppl each month. That is not easy and most likely a bad idea if you compare the time spend on doing all that advertising with a real job...

Anyway - it's all about the hosts and even though your solution looks fine I still do not think that it measures up to pair's webmaster account. (for the record - I'm not on Pair's referral scheme)

Don't get confused.

The $10 commission will be paid to you every month for your life as long as the account you referred is active, that is the account holder keeps staying with the company and having his or her website hosted there.

So if you got three referrals this month and none next month, you are still on free drive. If you get three more referrals next month, you'll be paid $60 commission totally. And the third month you'll still be paid $60 if no new referrals and no cancelation either.

If you still don't understand of it, no problem! Go to URL and read every page, and then you'll know it.

Hopefully this may help you a bit.

Thumbs up MyBizHosting.com

First, let me say I am not in anyway associated with this company other than being a customer.

I would have to say that I have had nothing but great service from MyBizHosting.com . They are awesome. The best part is not their price, what they offer, or even the variety of plans they offer, it is the SERVICE. There are some cheaper companies out there, but their service and support is unmatched!

Jumpline (http://www.jumpline.net) is really good, also, especially if you need to use php and sql.
I've had extremely good luck with them for support, as well; They are quick to get back to you either by email or phone, and it's obvious that they know what they're doing. Pretty inexpensive, also.

I've used a few different hosting companies:

Verio - the most expensive I've used but the best support and easiest to use site management tools. I was using the unix hosting with PHP and Mysql

Interland - second most expensive but I like them the least. They seem to do everything in an awkward way and the on-site documentation isn't very good. PHP appears to be running as a CGI so you lose much of PHP's speed benefits.

HalfPriceHosting - NT only hosting, I wasn't there long before I moved to a unix hosting enviroment. They do have Cold Fusion but it's expensive.

Webaxxs - great price $15.95/mo for 400MB space and 8G traffic, PHP and Mysql. I haven't had any speed problems. On site docs are weak and often out of date(still lists PHP3 as their PHP engine though they are using 4 and minimal tools)

I used to think so until friday of this week. I've been with them for over 6 months, but thursday I sent in yet another trouble ticket, only this time, no response, so 5 more trouble tickets were sent, still no response. And to boot, my site is still not running, because someone has messed up mysql in a way which doesnt allow my queries with an "AND " statement to be run.

so I'm pretty pissed with HR, and thats why I signed in here to see if n e 1 has other suggestions.

Hate to bag em, thev'e been outstanding until now, but 3 days of my web sight not working is 3 days too much.

WestHost

Just a quick note.

I use Westhost.net (URL) and I've found them to be extremely good.

I had a few calls to contact the customer service regarding a few queries I had and they were answered promptly by knowledgeable people.

They're also bloody cheap considering the services they offer and they have many products to please pretty much anyone.
