Which company is the most unlimited?

Quick question guys about choosing unlimited disk space company. Which one of them is considering the best? Bluehost, Host1Plus, Hostgator, Dreamhost, Justhost?

I love that title 'Which company is the most unlimited?'. Any way why you need unlimited space and bandwidth. What kind of site do you have. Most of the sites won't go beyond a GB of disk space. Mostly it will be inside MB limits.

Right now I'm using 68gb of disk space total, and 300gb of data transfer per day on hostgator and I haven't gotten kicked off yet. To be honest though, I expect to get kicked off any day and I can't compare them to any of those other companies.

The company should have powerful server equipment to offer unlimited. I know webintellects.com are pretty good for that purpose.

Sad thing is with most "unlimited Hosts" they eventually start getting you on script usage, questioning your bandwidth and then if your an over usesr they try to shut you down or do shut you down without warning. Maybe there are some out there that dont, but you will find complaints about most of the hosts that offer unlimited in their description that this has happened to them - so beware and check multiple forums and review sites.

Let's be honest here....

Find a host that promises what they will give to you. It is impossible to provide unlimited space or bandwidth....

The following I have found on a web hosting site, and thought I would quote it for you....

"If it sounds too good too be true it usually is! All hosts have the same basic limitations when it comes to server resources and specs.

There is no magic server that has a never ending supply of RAM and CPU. If a host ever claims to give unlimited space or bandwidth DO NOT JOIN THEM. The thing to remember is that the average web site uses about 50 Megs space and less then 1 gig bandwidth a month. So what hosting companies do is they lie! They make up scam plans with tons of space and unlimited bandwidth for around $8 bucks a month. It's a numbers game.... Only 5-10 of every 100 people that signup on the plan are going to use more than the 1 gigs bandwidth. So what do they do? They terminate the sites that use more bandwidth saying "your site is using too many resources."

They aren't lying about the resource usage it's the truth! Most people don't realize that bandwidth and space used have nothing to do with the server resources being used. Resource usage has to do with the amount of CPU and RAM a site uses. If a site uses their 50 gigs bandwidth they aren't kicked for using their bandwidth they are kicked for using up most of the servers CPU and RAM.

For example, If a company hosted 200 sites per server and 2% of the server used the 50 gigs bandwidth that would equal 200 gigs bandwidth a month used on the server. If they don't kick those sites using it, those 4 sites are going to be using more resources then all 196 sites on the server combined. So think about it, would a hosting company boot 4 people paying $8 bucks a month in order to double the amount of sites they can hold on the server? You bet they would!"

Honestly? Non of those is the best. All of them are popular companies and probably provide reliable services. But you should compare something, a specific service or product, price, network, etc. Not names.

There is no such thing as unlimited space and/or bandwidth. If you even try to reach it your site will get shut down.

It is like asking "which line is the most infinite?"... Unlimited deals are not recommended.

I think however the unmetered bandwidth plans are good idea, especially if they are offered by such stable companies as a2hosting for instance.
