16 Slot Public CS:Server

Hello, looking for 16 slot public counter strike server.
I am willing to pay $20-25/month, in the Texas or New York area.
Need test IP.

Any quality host is not going to be able to do that.
Servers and networks will be horribly overloaded at that cost.

A reasonable request is $2.50, $3.00 a slot for a VALUE server. More for real perfomance.

Agreed. You should push up your budget. Or lower your slot amount. $20 - $25 Will get you a 10 Man Public or Possibly a 12 Man.

We can do a 16 man pub for $48 per month, but you are right that is pushing the envelope for price. As you get lower the networks tend to be overloaded to allow for such cheap price. So when all servers on that network are operating at once your latency goes thru the roof as the machine cannot handle the load. Most of your providors that have good networks will charge around $3 to $4 per slot and nothing less. This is to allow for well maintained and proper equipment for the job. Also you need the right connection speed as some of the fly by night server hosts use t1 connection or t3 and they just dont offer the performance of an oc48.
