A hosting plan for running a private proxy server (personal use).

I'm in need of a private proxy server. I don't care what is available in server side, Just needs to be able to use as private proxy server. High anonymity plus that if server physical location be in US or Europe it will be great. Also I need to be sure it will be secure as I will use it for my daily use. There is no illegal use, my problem is that most of big web sites are blocked here plus all public proxy servers.
I don't need much disk space or bandwidth just being secure and fast is enough.

We might be able to help you out considering that there is no illegal use involved. But you need to provide more information like where are you located? what are your space and bandwidth requirements? what is your budget?

I commonly travel around but now I'm in Iran and most of my problems is that I'm here. As I told I need it for personal use, so a minimum of bandwidth and space will be more than enough. But in regard to budget, I'm looking for a reasonable price. Also I want to have a private IP (I know it cost a little more) mainly because I want to use it for my daily use and believe sharing an IP with other people cannot be so interesting.
Also may I ask you which software you can install to act as proxy server? Actually I don't care about it but some thing else circles in my mind and it's vpn. Is it possible and if yes, what will be the cost?

Hi, I can help you out. To run a proxy you need either a Virtual private or a dedicated server. The VPS start from $10/m and dedicated from $70/m + $120 setup.

Thanks for your reply. I conclude the same. I don't know which kind of proxy you are talking about, but this is my finding so far.
I find a suitable vps plan for $10 with dedicated IP, root access and ssh. In this way I can use this hosting for my web site too. Also I think vpn is the best solution for running a complete proxy. And finally I find openvpn which do exactly what I need. Needless to say I find this information with kindly help from various people on different forums/mailing lists, just like you.
So if you are a hosting provider, which can offer vpn based solution with dedicated IP, I think we can make a deal.
