Freelancer Server

Upstream has to be at least 1024KB/PS

We require 64 slots and plenty of ram at least 1.5GB
Since freelancer requires Windows to run, it requires windows.
The server needs a fairly decent processor but Ram is the most important thing. The game will be running a stand alone mod called Asgard. http://www.lancersreactor.com/
We will obviously need access to upload the mod and set it up so it regularly reboots (12 hours), thats because its a 3D Space sim and definately requires regular restarts to prevent crashing.

What about a dedicated server:

Processor: Anything 2.4Ghz Above
RAM: 1.5GB
Hard Drive: like 5GB Max
Uplink: 10Mbit

The ram is the most important thing and an OK processor will do fine. I require this to be under $100 500GB CAP on the xfer is fine. Note we will utilise 768KB Up minumum.

Also it has to be Windows. Any Windows we can install the game and server files onto. If somebody shows me how to install Freelancer onto a linux box, i would greatly appreciate it. We need to basically install Freelancer, Ioncross & Asgard ( The mod ).
