Host recommendations w/ mysql 5.0

If anyone happens to know of a good linux host that offers mysql 5.0, and allows at least 10 domains, I'd like to hear about it.

I've been researching vps and the like, and I am so tired of researching hosts, that I simply cannot anymore. Just give me my mysql 5 and I'll be happy.

Right now I have a decent deal; 5 domains, 500mb, 24/7 support (which is important when the server becomes unresponsive because a neighbor started a loop without a counter or something) for $20.

I would rather get to a situation where I have root priveledges and can configure my own server or vps, but when you throw in backup plan, the backups will eat more bandwidth then my webpages would use. Can't win for losing.

I'm starting to feel that webhosts should have licensing or inspection requirments of some sort to be a web host. I don't want my web page hosted under the sweathsirts, next to the shoes in a closet in some dude's bedroom (like that banner that was on this site).

I thought Plesk choked on MySQL 5? I am using a DS that had Plesk on it. I wanted to update to MySQL 5 and was told from many different sources (the Plesk support pages even said it) that Plesk does NOT work with MySQL 5.

You do not have to use MySQL 5 with Plesk you can use it independently of the Plesk server.

If you want shared hosting for under $20 that provides mysql and you can put more than 5 domains. They also include a control panel Plesk the domain is starlighthosting.net. One question what do you mean root privileges?

Root privileges as in full server admin control, only found in VPS, deidcated server or set your own up over your home cable connection.

Thanks for all the replies by the way! I'm still searching, and I'm trying to narrow my choices down to companies that have been providing good service for around 5 years at least. I want to stay away from fly-by-nights, and start ups that don't know what they are getting into.
