I run a web hosting business but I'd like to host my site personally and away from my own servers preserving them for my clients and my clients only. Anyhow on to what I need...

Around 100MB space
Around 20-30GB Transfer a month
FAST speeds no slow speeds
Good uptime, I need a record of it
PHP, linux (prefer cpanel servers)
NO PHP SAFE MODE
There are LEGAL adult themes and a few pictures on this forum

Be careful when you choose a host for your forums. Our site had forums at ProBoards and Sudden Launch and they both pulled our forums at the hint of a complaint. Our site runs contraversial public interest issues but does not run porn, passwords, warez, etc - they killed our forums without warning. Sudden Launch's attitude was disgraceful and they were indifferent to the fact that they had deleted months worth of work on the say so of an unfounded complaint. My advice would be to use Invision Power Board software on your main site server so as to avoid deletion when some saddo who can't sleep comes along and complains that there is a picture which made him blush on your forums!

Wow, so many hosts here oversell webspace and bandwith. NO Company can make any money of selling 2 GB Webspace for $2. Bandwith doesnt come cheap either. Or you guys have a really cheap box that like a celeron that you get for $50. For those who do, do this please learn a little bit more on hosting. Sorry if i confused you. But for you to say 20 gigs is alot. look at your package

300mbs of space and 10 gigs of bandwitdh... You wont even need 10 gigs of space for that amount of bandwitdh.

It might just be me, but four years seems to be a lie, and also, you both are probably using the same boxedart template (look thru the code!). Using a template isn't a problem per say, but claiming it's "yours" when it's publicly available isn't ethical either.



I'll point out that you can get decent hard drives (250gb, sata) for $99, which means you could probably charge $10 per month for 50gb space, and make a decent profit on it (remember, purchasing hardware is an investment; of course, if you are renting a dedicated server, that doesn't make much sense, since I'm guessing you aren't colocating).
