NEED: Dedicated server with Gentoo GNU/Linux

I urgently need a dedicated server with 512 MB of RAM and Gentoo GNU/Linux from a well-connected, competent provider.

I do not require "handholding" and would like a "good and fair price". (Cost is an issue, but I do not want to push the price down so far that that'd rule out everyone except for "junk" hosting services which can't deliver on their promises).

It's very important for me to be able to send email which will arrive as reliably as is possible in today's world. In particular, the provider must be able to set up reverse dns (believe it or not, there are hosting services which lack this fundamental competency), and getting an IP number which is damaged by listing in anti-spam blacklists is not acceptable.

As an alternative to a "dedicated server", I'd also consider a "VM server", i.e. an account on a shared server where each user gets a VMware-style "virtual machine" on which they can run the OS of their choice. I however require the ability to patch or upgrade any operating system component including the kernel (in case someone finds a security problem), hence I'm not interested in other forms of server sharing.

But I want gentoo :-)

Do you provide Gentoo? (Offering me Redhat doesn't match my query.) Can you offer me an IP number which is not in any blacklist? You can check at http://openrbl.org/
