Needing webhost

I'm needing a webhost server:
Linux
Supports PHP and MySQL
Monthly transfer higher than 100GB per month (no X GB per day, I need a per month). Preference for 300GB Monthly transfers. Monthly transfer is likely to increase starting at mid-2006, so if the host provider can acomodate this increase/has better plans, that'd be good.
At least 350MB of HD space (I'll probably end needing more, but this should be enough).
Good customer support, 99% uptime. (This is vital).
Huge preference for monthly payments over contracts.

The price, I'm looking for something around U$20 per month, but I'm open to higher prices as long as they are not way over budget.

That is quite a bit of bandwidth there--how many unique visitors does your site receive per day in order to need that much?

In addition, your budget is less than 10 cents per gigabyte of bandwidth, it is going to be hard to find a host with that budget. I understand that you can raise your budget, but how high are you willing to go?

If your site receives a ton of visitors and has heavy use of PHP/MySQL as I assume, you may have best luck going with a fully managed VPS option from a company such as www.powervps.com www.servint.net or www.liquidweb.com. (I have used both PowerVPS and ServInt)

It would be for an indie game, the traffic would be mostly generated by the game client download and the game updates. I'm looking at it with a safety margin, since paying for the extra GBs can kill XD. I did run into some webhosts (after posting here) that offer pretty much what I need, talked with them, so far so good. I'll keep looking into this, but I'm gonna probably go with http://www.webhost4life.com/ or maybe http://www.doteasy.com .

Just so you know, their using a Template Monster template for their site and they offer "unmetered" transfer/bandwidth.

Yes I'm aware of the "unmetered" bandwidth. I talked with them on the live chat and a 100~200 gb site should be no problem.
Well, using a ready-made template is not a good thing, I got to agree with that. I haven't closed any deal, so I'm still on the look.
I think that what I'm going to do is try to handle it with my current plan (300 mb, up to 100gb transfer per month, U$17 per month) and when closer to release just get myself a dedicated server.
I guess that the worst thing about webhosting is that you can't really see what you get, and you can only notice it AFTER getting.

Yes, it sounds odd, I know. Figures the game will have only something like 300mb, but if it is downloaded by 350 users, that is already above 100GB of transfer. And if you take into account that there will be a website, with screenshots, guides, maybe some trailers, and a forum...
I guess I'll just stick with my current host for some time, at least their uptime is good XD
Closer to release I think I'll get a VPS like WebInsanity said.

Make sure to read the TOS for any host that you choose. For example, I think it was Globat that offered an "unmetered" deal a few weeks ago - though when you read their AUP it went on about how you could not offer any downloads on your site, and even restricted normal website functions.
