If you would have looked on our site you will find that we provide other data transfer amounts, although he only requested just over 1 gig per month.
Also, I think you've forgotten to give him a price for that offer...

I think he may have meant 1200GB+
He posted a few weeks back I believe, and then he requested 1000GB, so Im sure it must be a typo.

How can you allot 400GB Space, 10mbps Uncapped Transfer & 3GB Dedicated RAM without overselling.
If you can provide some proof that would be great

lol, well thats easy. Its all shared resouces... However id like you to anserver one question...
Why do you always attack other companies, are you afraid of the compition?..
anyways ill answer yours.
There is 1.5 tbs of space on the server and 3gigs of ram, the connection is a 10mbs.
normally this is cut into a few peaces and sold as vps, but since i have no one on this box im offering this client the oppurtunity to use it all, for a low price.

No, not at all. There are hundreds of hosting companies founded, and shut down a day. The market is saturated and because of people like you, thousands of honest citizens are losing their jobs when their website suddenly disappears because this "host" realises that they can no longer offer 500GB Space for $25/month.
Now, let’s consider you are telling the truth. You have a Dual Xeon server like you claim. It has 4*250GB Hard drives, so its probably the biggest server I know of. Now, this server costs you $500 a month to run. That doesn’t cover abnormal fees, or hiring of support staff, that’s just a base of $500. Lets say that you put 3 of these accounts on a server and hence do not over sell, (ignore bandwidth) Over a twelve month period the server costs you $6000, but you are making only $900 a year off these clients. What do you do? A few options;
Option 1) Shut up shop. Leave all your 3 clients out in the blue, ruin their business and watch all there hard work go down the drain. Watch them loose a job.
Option 2) Make impossible offers like the one above and oversell your server. At least it will keep you going for a month longer?
Option 3) Change servers and move to your bedroom. Simple theory, you have a computer, you have broadband, why not do that?
The thing is that these options will make clients feel like they are just numbers. A leap from 100mbps to 1mbps is a bit of a difference. A leap from 99% uptime to 89% uptime is big change. The customers will drop off one by one. This is after you explain to them that there is just some server maintenance going on in order to get them on an even faster network. Little do they know that they are now hosted at 123 Fake Street.
So, one Friday afternoon, you get a letter through off your broadband provider saying that your broadband is now going to be shut down as it is being used to host a web server which violates the TOS. You try to connect to the broadband, but you do not have permission to access it. What do you do? Do you phone up the ISP saying that you will no longer host web server? Do you backup all your clients files, burn them to CD’s and rent a new server. The somehow get their files onto the new server.
99% of people who host a server in their bedroom will just say, “ah well, at least I gave it a shot.” They aren’t aware that they have ruined peoples lives just by “having a go”
Anyway, that is how I feel about people like you.
Finally, could you upload http://phpsysinfo.sourceforge.net/, just so we could all see this brand new Dual Xeon with 3GB RAM, and 1500GB Space please?
As soon as you do that, I will delete my posts.
Thanks a lot!
Regards
Steven Billings

Don't you guys ever get tired of fighting with each other?
Its so much easier to just post your offer, let others post theirs, and if the client has any queries, he asks them
