I had replyed previously with my companys information (www.bravomultimedia.com)...

The one, IMHO, to stay away from, would be godaddy.com... i know they offer "cheap" hosting.. and thats essentially what you get with them. From my dealings with them, they are just a huge, cranking out hosting, company that deals in volume rather than quality. I have seen nothing but problems from them, from slow servers, to little to no support.

You are probably, as in most areas of opinions, not going to find a clear cut "good" hosting provider. Some people are going to rant and rave about one company, while someone else might have completely different things to say about that same company. So if you are looking for an overwhemling response that HOST X is the best, not going to see it.

I would still like to hear from you as I know we could help set you up on a hosting account that you will be satisfied with. Unlike the above mentioned "big" company, we dont do the volumes of hosting they do, rather we have a small client base that we make sure we take good care of. Not to mention, we are a full service web shop, that can help you out with anything web related you need (merchant accounts, security certificates, SEO, graphic design work, programming, etc), not only hosting.

One of the hosts in this thread reported another poster's comment indicating that it was "bashing" his/her hosting company.

I might remind everyone that we're all entitled to our opinions, and that people evaluating hosting companies should keep in mind the source of any compliments/complaints/suggestions from users in these threads.

As always, take any anecdotal evidence, good or bad, with a grain of salt and be sure to do your own independent research before choosing a company.
