Ran some test on the test IP's Devon.

Its obvious your either new to gaming servers, or just trying to make a quick buck (your pricing).

Your running the test servers off a server located in colo4dallas, which your also running a httpd server, serving websites. Very bad idea IMO.

My test servers are on a server that wont serve customers. I can assure you of that. However, I don't see how colo4dallas is a bad provider. Seeing their backbone is Internap.

I will admit I am new to the industry of game servers, however I am not new to the technology of game servers and Linux.

Very easy to tell your new, and probably (im guessing) wont last very long with the pricing your giving. The numbers just dont add up when matching with the required hardware that game servers ( especially CS:S) take, and from the looks of it, in order to break even or make a few dollars ( and I mean a FEW), your gonna need to sell more than you can have.

Maybe you'll get lucky and never have all your servers full at once :-P

We are an active clan too. So people would see us on the server everyday.

I would love to sponsor teams, however I already sponsor a team. I'm sorry I couldn't help you out... I'm sure if you have an active clan, it wouldn't be too hard getting the money for my servers, I might be able to cut you a deal if you buy 2 servers (one for public and one for private, even though 1.25/slot is for both.)

The porb is we are either freshman high school or broke college kids... Thats why we cant afford one.

You dont need to necesarily sponser us. Just provide a/or 2 servers and we will advertise all over! I.E.:Aim/XFIRE/Steam/mIRC/web forums/and emails.
