First, let me say this isn't between Maine & Texas... but I think it's a very very good deal.
I can offer you 1U of space in a cabinet I rent from IINet in Portland Oregon for $50/mo (or $42/mo if you pay yearly). Includes a 10Mbit ethernet port on a Cisco Catalyst switch and 500GB of monthly bandwidth. 4 IP addresses. Remote Reboot access with APC Masterswitches for an addtl. $10/mo.
IINet owns the third floor of an office tower in downtown portland. It has electronic locks on all doors (keycard access) and then locked cages and locked cabinets. I've got keys to the building and elevator, the main doors and the combination on the cabinet you would be located in. My internet access through them is via three DS-3 connections from MCI, US Pops, and Time Warner.
The bandwidth is truly top notch. It easily bursts to 7-8MB/sec on one of the 100mbit ports and the avg amount of traffic over the 100mbit link you would be on is 200KB/sec. I haven't had a noticeable network outage there in two years. (So, I would *guess* it has either never been down, or has never been down for more than 1-2 minutes at a time) I've been colocating servers with IINet for about 5 years now, now I rent cabinet's from them. You can find more info at www.forked.net, or email me at apex@forked.net. I'm on AIM as 'apexio' or you can call my cell phone at 503 816 5683 (not a business phone).
Regards,
Jon Daniels
