    Controlling your siteís visitors

I think itís quite important for every site owner to be aware of its visitors. What monitoring solutions do you use for understanding who is coming to your website and what they are doing while they are there?

Awstats is awesome for traffic details. Are you running the server or are you on a shared hosting account?

Do you mean website uptime monitoring or website analytics. I saw others discuss analytics, so I'd say I recommend Piwik stats.

In my opinion this is very important that every site owner to be aware about their visitors. so they can use Google analytics or The Alexa Toolbar for Firefox or Alexa Sparky or Alexa Site Ranking Toolbar and many others. These toolbar are free of cost.
