Info please: cPanel vs Joomla/Drupal?
Can some explain the essential differences (in usage) between cPanel and Joomla/Drupal?
I have seen these mentioned often, but what uses they are put to - one vs the other - isn't making sense to me. This is part of my research into renting and running a hosted web site.
The cPanel is hosting control panel with which you could manage your websites, emails etc...The others are CMS (content management) website control panels with which you could manage the content of your websites.
Well...Its a start. How does managing a website differ from managing its content?

cPanel and other control panel automate virtual hosting accounts and servers management. The different CMS such as Drupal and Joomla are website and web content management applications. You need to properly set-up your server and/or virtual hosting account to run any CMS.

Ahh..That makes sense. cPanel manages access and security. Drupal, etc., allow the content of web pages to be changed by the user - a distinct and important difference.
