    Hello,

For such number of visitors you could get some VPS hosting server. GoDaddy are stable, have excellent prices, only their customer support is not very good, but have a very good hosting FAQ. You could try them, they provide money back guarantee and if not happy to get your money back.

It really depends what you're looking for..Linux or Windows hosting, PHP, ASP etc, speeds, location of server and your budget.

I host all of my sites with a company called Big Wet Fish, and I have done since 2008. I was with 2 other companies for abour 4 months each before I moved to BWF - their service is great, hardly any downtime, fast connection speeds and cPanel. They also offer a 24 hour support desk which is really handy and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Their prices are great too. They don't offer anything with 'Unlimited' Space, transfer etc as its not possible to have unlimited space.

I'd recommend them. If you email them with your exact requirements they'd also build you a custom package.

    Website: www.bigwetfish.co.uk

Like I say, I've been with them for nearly 4 years now, they are by far the best I have been with and I know many who have said the same.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,

The best approach is to contact web hosting provider to discuss furthermore issues. They should be able to give you all the information regarding to your hosting requirements.

The domain extensions you have mentioned are comes under TLD and usually their cost is quite similar to one another. The cost of the ccTLD domains (co.uk, co.us, etc...) are normally higher than TLD...

Well it may vary from web host to web host...however, the cost difference is pretty small...

There is no difference, just what your visitors are more likely to remember, for example, onlineshop.com is more of a likely thing for a visitor to remember than onlineshop.info

    Hope this helps :-)

of course it helps, you are right, it is better online.com. better to remember and sounds more serious, however, as the info is information, a site with information.

Well yes, but that is because you know about .info and its meaning, uneducated visitors may just think its a cheaper alternative to .com and be naturally turned away.

For the amount of traffic you are suggesting ,I would start out out with a less exspensive VPS, basic control panel, etc. Once your traffic increases, then you could just upgrade it with more RAM,Bandwidth etc.Good luck!

.COM, .NET and .ORG are unrestricted open domains.

.com means that the domain is for business or commercial purposes.

.net means that the domain is for a technology based company.

.INFO is the internet's first unrestricted top level domain since .COM Around the globe, .INFO is synonymous with information. Anyone can register a .INFO.

.info means that the domain is for sharing information.

I have always used 1and1 for all of my websites and I have not had a single problem...however you do hear stories. I had a GoDaddy-hosted website and I ended cancelling the contract because my website kept on going down for days at a time. Saying that, I know lots of people with GoDaddy accounts and they all swear by them. Thanks MHK Developer, I also had no real idea of the difference either (or at least, intended difference).
