    My 10-Month Grind

I'm new to computer programming, this is my first successful project, and I'm hoping to make a lot of money off of it! It's a website service for Real Estate Agents.

I'm really hoping you guys can get a good idea of everything by just going to the web site. I appreciate all feedback tremendously! I feel I did an excellent job, but PLEASE TEAR ME TO SHREDS!

I think I've got the content down. The code is pretty much debugged. I just need to know that the site is USER FRIENDLY. Do you feel confused or lost when you enter my site? Thank you so much for your time!

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you were a Real Estate Agent, does this sound like something that could help you???

    Just my 2 cents:

    1) remove all the ! from your nav bar, they just look silly. and always have a home, not "introduction".

    2) most people complian that they want to see more on one page, however, you are filling up about 60% of your website with whitespace (or stripe-space, in this case). Use more of the window.

    3) You have a try it free area, but how about showing them an example? I know i HATE having to fill out information to see an example of a companies work, that just makes me go elsewhere.

    4) i think the font you are using in your main logo graphic is kind of childish.

I made the Introduction (Home) page with a description of the service and I have an example when you scroll down. Maybe I will move this into better view.

    1. Give them a demo video of how to work the site
    2. I don't like the extreme line-height on the paragraphs. It seems too spaced out
    3. Edit your title tag to include what page you are on such as <title>Agent Listing Websites | Home
    4. Take out the .com in the title tag
    5. I don't like the text centered at the bottom
    6. Try to make the wrapper wider. I feel as if your cramping in information in that box

    • medialint agrees : A random amount of rep (actually determined at random) to add points to Jancarius' agreement ;-)

I LOVE that Demo idea! I'm going to research this, do you know of any free screen recording software?

I agree with the lineheight. I liked it originally but your comment puts it in perspective.

I finally made the wrapper wider, as a few people suggested. It looks WAY better! Thank you guys! You've been a lot of help so far.

What is the name of the company? The URL says Agent Listing Websites, the title says Realtor Listing Websites and the Logo says Personalized Listing Websites. Better to keep it consistent so it becomes a brand as well as a deacription of what the service is.

Overall the front page works well I think. I dont think you really need the Spelling it Out section. It sounds like marketing speak, and to be honest it doesnt spell out what the site does at all. The following sections do that perfectly well so I think you could lose that top section and get straight to the point.

I think the typographical elements still need some work... you're proud of the content, so you've got to show it off!

You don't want your audience to grow tired of reading purely because they can't follow the text.

Maximise your legibility. There's no need for the bold capital letters in your headings... we make text bold to highlight it. Try highlighting the keywords instead.

Justifying text isn't always the best option... it can create to wide a gap between words and make the lines difficult to follow. Your text generally needs compacting altogether.

Your header definitely requires some work, and the text below it. I feel that text is important to readers, so you need to draw more attention to it.

It's a site definitely refining, as the content is very valuable
