Well, There are plenty of ways to get inbound links from add your face:
- You get the minibio pop up on your face image with your website link.
- Stick it into your profile and thats another link.
- Import your blog feed into your add your face blog.
- Create a group and put your link in there.
- If you are really good, get to the top of the top 100 and you will be on the homepage for a long time. All you have to do is be active on the site.
Iif that's not enough opportunities for self promotion of your site, I don't know what is.

Looks nice but I think the logo, the menu links and the 'welcome' intro text hugs the left side too much. I'm viewing in IE7 and you couldn't fit a pubic hair between the stuff I'm talking about and the edge of the browser.
I would make the links all lowercase and not bold. I would also center the links despite how boring that may seem. The links seem to blend in with the intro text.

I really like it. It's nice to look at, easy to navigate and generally a fun concept. I think I'll sign up myself.

Good to hear. Nice to hear that some find it a rather enjoyable and interesting idea.

just a couple of thoughts
1) the markup is all inline styles.. what's with that??
2) and in the user profile eg http://www.addyourface.com/user/GrahamBaines
you should attach the name to the image either with the alt or with a friendly url that way you could take advantage of google face search
3) design-wise i like it from the h1 down.. think the diagonal stripes are a bit 'heavy' and the logo doesnt do much for me

I think the site is pretty good! As others have said, try developing a MySpace and Facebook app for the site to get more users, (700-something isn't enough to keep me on there.) You should also add more games, maybe make a way for users to submit games? (like how facebook has apps.) Did you do all the coding from scratch or did you use some kind of social networking script as a base?

It's all from scratch with a few javascripts here and there to get some of the games started.
We would like to do an API of sorts and would love more people to contribute in anyway they can to it.
Thanks for the feedback!

Glad you like it opennys. It's been a bit slow lately with registrations. Trying to think up some ways to big it up a bit.

I really liked it. The color scheme works and the layout is nice and uniform.
The thing that kept drawing my eye was the way the 'new faces' column wasn't even with the ad column but im not sure if its supposed to be that way or not.
Other than that, great site and great idea!

Have been following this for a while and wondering if it is the next Twitter! How are the visitor numbers going now? Are you looking for investors / partners?

2 years on and its going pretty slow.
The site has alot of potential but its quite hard to get people to move from facebook or other social networks and start using addyourface.
