Have updated the header of the site, as the old one looked dull and oppressive. What do you all think of the site? Anything that can be done to improve it??

It's functional, but you need padding along the borders of your writing, it looks kind of cramped right now.

The padding issue. Align the left side of the header images with the navigation bar. Align the top of the content :::SHUDDERS::: tables with the top of the navigation bar.
Seriously think about using CSS and throwing tables away. It's very difficult at first, but once you start the benefits of cleaner and more accessible code become obvious to you right away. http://validator.w3.org/check?verbo....uk/schools.php -- not valid html 3.2 <-- that's scary. And it's most likely the reason that the people at the other forum said it's unviewable. http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/....uk/schools.php --- work on it, follow the guides and if there is something you are unsure about, read over existing documentation on the web, and if that doesn't help. Post a question in these forums... ----Suggested Reading :. http://www.google.ca/search?q=w3c+b...G=Google+Search :. http://learningforlife.fsu.edu/webm...gs/text/div.cfm That's about all I can suggest for now, just know that in any browser other than the newest ones your site is horribly unstable and overbloated. But I can see the text ![]() Last edited by 1beb : May 24th, 2004 at 11:19 AM. Reason: I wrote no, instead of know -- /me slaps his forehead. |
