I like the site, but I am not certain I understand your reason for opening up a new page for your gallery and for your links page.

Your art is cool too.

Well, on my browser it sometimes lines up nicely.
A few people have mentioned that, perhaps I'll change it.

Or learn Java, bother.
I am mostly design oriented, kind of like a traditional artist who finally got a computer. Integration.
It's all kind of new to me, programming wise.
I'm a quick study. No worries.

Thank you,
AD (don)

Hey all,

Just thought I would let you know that I did some renovations on my site. Also I designed the Transients site for a friend, and some beer.

enjoy,

I am seriously taken aback by all this slow loading stuff. I have a (don't laugh!!) 28k modem and I don't have any problems loading the site.
You all must be joking or something. Every computer I have looked at my site with has been fast loading. I have never heard this complaint before, and have had no problems on anyones system that I have tried.
So, I honestly don't know what to tell you.

28kb!!! why you still got that???

Its not to bad at downloading, however as so many people have said i think you may have a problem. Its jus not quite as fast as other sites.

Oh and if you can upgrade from 28kb, you will love it its so fast!!

Well, It's because I'm poor and don't got the money to upgrade.
If you think that's bad, I've got a 120mhz processor.

I would love to buy a newer mac, but I just don't have $2000 to spend. I'm a budding graphic designer so I'm hoping my business will pick up soon. Maybe then I can do a major upgrade in every way. That would be sweet.

Anywho, the confusion I am having is that the flash index is only 58kb and the html is only about 2kb, so I don't understand how it could be slow. I've got every image optimized.
I build my sites with GoLive5, AI9, AP6 and LiveMotion1.

If you can figure out why it's "slow" please give me an idea how I can fix it. Otherwise, it seems there is little I can do about it.

Any ideas?

I didn't find it slow at all. I have a 1.5MBps connection and it loaded fine (took one second longer than Google, after cache had been cleared).

Looks nice

It seems to have speeded up now quite alot. I dont know what u did! Might have been something upgraded between u and me!

About a computer. You could build one yourself for around $800. I built mine, and it runs lovely and only cost a fraction of what it would have cost.

Huh, I haven't changed a thing.

Yeah, I've kind of become a Mac person and $800 is still quite out of my budget. I've thought I could save money and get a PC, but then I would need to get all new programs as well, so I wouldn't really save that much.
Thanks for the thought though.

I'll see ya,
