can I get some feed back on this logo please?

Tell me what ya think of either of these. There pretty much the same except for one diff. It's the title logo for a small website. I am going for a comic look. Please let me know what you think and any suggestions on how to make it better. It's the first go at it sooo...

Thanks!

I concur

The first one is definately better (in my opinion), the second looks like you messed up on the transparency or something.

I think you may be right. I added a bit to it with the rougher look though. I'll shade it also with the smoother border and see wich looks better. Here's the updated ver however.

Its getting there, I think a solid border would still be better. Also, its quite large, and will take up alot of space on the page, especailly at lower screens res. If you reduce it as it is, though, the .info will be all but unreadable.
I think its cool, but maybe slightly lessheight differance between the start and end...????

Thank you everyone for your suggestions! Now I have a question. How can I save the psd file so it is transparent so it overlay's on top of any color background when I insert it into a web page. I know saving as a gif works but when I have a drop shadow it never overlay's right. Are there settings to adjust when saving as a gif to make it stay looking good. It get's all muddy and it dosn't look right over a background.

Thanks again!

I think you would be better suited asking that question in the photoshop help forum. I think you will get better help!
