I like the logo.
That being said, I think your site's colors should match the logo. Namely, I don't think the red and yellow colors really go with the layout - they're too bold.
If I were you, I would change the red to the lighter shade of blue in your logo, and then pick a less-bold yellow color for the yellow areas. I think that would give a better impact.

Couple of issues in general:
1. With the logo, the text is easy to read but it is also a bit blocky. Just not a fan of the text. Personal choice really
2. The username in the top right corner. Try sectioning that off, put their username as a link, and link it to a profile page of that user. It is very plain with that stuff just sitting there
3. That red/brown on yellow color could be changed. It is making the black text very very hard to read, and it doesn't look good. Try a lighter color.
4. Make the "Post New Auction", "Search Auctions", and "Update Information", into images that look stylish
