A comment from the cheap seats:

It's very nice, and I'm not at all qualified to comment on such professional work. But I like the name and the elegant color scheme; and apart from that it seems like a very typical professional website. Well crafted, but not inspired.

The photo at the foot of the candidates page (is that a sepia filter?) fits the color scheme beautifully, but could perhaps be brighter.

Would it be useful to add a meta description tag for search engines?

And what does the favicon.ico represent? If I were a visitor to the site, I might wonder why it doesn't match the logo on the page.

Nice site - not far from having a professionally-designed look, but not quite there...

My suggestions:

1. Remove the shadow from the logo

2. The splash-screen graphic looks awkward with the black/white women - try full color. Also the brown gradient doesn't looks very nice - maybe re-do it with a different layer mode in Photoshop. The text - I think it would look better without the stroke

3. The icons used on the site - they are obviously from an icon set that has nothing to do with your industry (for example the MSN icons). Either find another free one that works better or better buy one that fits perfectly with the layout/scheme.

4. The text next to the main logo should not be an image. It is much better for search engine rankings if it's actual text.

There are a few other small things I could point out, but I would like to see it with the above revisions (if you agree with my suggestions)

Nice looking clean site.

I only came up with one quick suggestion - the signature logo in the top left could link to you home page.
