DNA sequencing website

I was just wondering people thought about this website that I created for a client who runs a DNA sequencing company called Sequegen.

www.sequegen.com

He asked that I create a site that resembled a cell and had a DNA strand. It is not totaly finished yet but very close. Thanks for the input.

The hover text that appears over the cursor is really annoying and out of date.

Looks fairly good =)

I pressed my new google vote button

hovers....and style of the page elements, r a bit out of date.....new design themes coul dbe found for it......

I don't like the black... can't really explain why... it's way too dark...

i agree... black is not good but the title could be cahnged... would be a good idea to change the way the title looks. i suggest that it should be less bubbly and fades with the background instead of being pixelated.

Thank for the advice everyone. I def agree that the title and botton text need to be smoothed out, that is something I need to work on. As for the black I do see what you guys are saying, but my client requested I use a black background so I didn't really have much of a choice.

Lightbulb web site

Suggest that it would be better if you could read all the words on every page, especially in company profile and their email address, most importantly.

Adro,
What browser are you using? The text does get a little messed up when it is viewed from a Mac but has worked fine on all the Windows machines I have checked.

I hate any site that automatically resizes web browser - although the pages are obviously meant to be viewed at a certain page size, you shold let the browser control it.

Have MS Internet Explorer, not Mac. Have tried 2 other machines and it looks fine on them. Must be the browser as Jamie suggested.

Too cluttered, too dark.

The fading from black to white, seems like something one did 10 yrs ago fooling around with Photoshop. And that is about the overall feeling I get from the site.

I like the idea of a centered DNA.

The title (jagged crome alike thing above and under) should be changed to something more settled.

But the site is already up and running, and your customer presumably already paied you for that exact design, right? Then its hard to change anything.
