it's attractive and very clean looking.. the appearance is nice..

Immediately, the first problem I noticed was this : When I look at your site I am estimating (without actually measuring) that a total of 10% of my browser window is content, 10% is navigation, 55% graphical presentation and 25% empty space (result of designing for a specific resolution).

Now, I realise that people are saying "content is no longer king", but it's not the peasant either.. Opinions vary, but I have read that it is favourable to have at the VERY least 60% of the space for content.. with 75% being the minimum one should actually strive for.

Other than that, everything that has been implemented at this point seems to work with no problem (did not test any forms, of course) and it looks good in a magazine advertisement sort of way.

VIEWED WITH : Mozilla 1.7a at 1024X768 24 bit color depth.

Lynx gives me the message that "Document contains only hidden links" and I have to go an extra step to actually use any links because of this.

I agree with comments by c444l.

Additionally, you may want to read my unacknowledged comments in Please review our new design, especially the second page regarding the header/content/footer.

AFA, HTML and CSS, you can also read my other posts regarding tables, doctype, properly quoting values etc.

Site looks very good but the HTML doesn't and since you are offering web design on your site, your own design has to be immaculate.

Good luck

Pretty-Heavy

Statically speaking you will lose 2/3 rds of your audience because they will have to scroll just to see the category information.

Secondly, according to netmechanic.com your site is way too file heavy -->> 218865 bytes (approx 218 Kb) just for the home page. That will take over 30 seconds to load at 56K. You statiscally have about 8 seconds max to capture and keep the attention of a site visitor.
The rest of your audience at least GGGGOOOONNNEEE.

Thirdly, your imagery is nice but I would get rid of the Imageready comments in the code and cut back on some of the graphics. Optimze! Optimize! Optimize!

Sincerely,
Rikahs Design
