I think forthe tattooing website you should work more on a light background with a 1px border around the main work. Sort of like how you Have the photography one, but solid border. Maybe I dunno.

its a nice enough design, although i would suggest giving it more life. maybe add some more colors. i think you should go to your local barnes & noble and read up on website design. you got skill but i think exploring it further through books and learning about colors and design would put you on the right track.

You seem to really like small grey-scale rectangles that are centered vertically and horizontally. Those don't give much room for content on each page.
