Hi All,
I was wondering if you could take a look at my website, it's a website for hobbyists so I'm not looking for a corporate design style so it doesn't need to look entirely professional but it can't look amateur or childish and I have a feeling it may be pointing in that direction at the moment It's based on wordpress so there's no real content on there at the moment as I'm just working on the design.
I've also attached the logos I've used, in different colour styles. I'm not sure how much colour to include in the logo, I originally had a glow around the bulb but decided against this.
Any comments good or bad would be greatly appreciated,

It feels a bit "crowded", you should decide what you want to highlight.
Does the login and/or search field have to be that large?

The logo is quite nice, it is noticeable but not screaming.

Is the list dot supposed to be at the edge between the search and content field?

I think it's a little too simple. You should at least try to fill up the screen if you know what I mean...to much empty space.
