How to design the following?
Hi. I've been working on this website for a while but haven't designed it yet. Do you have any advice on how to design it?

You certainly want to use smooth colors and pictures pretaining to your site. In this case, maybe a scenic photograph of clouds or something you feel adequately represents the feeling you'd like viewers to recieve when visiting.
Generally also, it's better to place your head or banner with your pages name above navigation. Good luck. |

Tough question when what you have has no aesthetic qualities whatsoever.
What software do you use to design? Are you familiar with CSS? Who is the site aimed at? Do you have Photoshop, Fireworks or Image Ready? Can you design logos and buttons? Do you have access to any photographs or logos to include? I think you need to pay serious attention to accessibility and easy of navigation. The current interface is not intuitive at all. I think there is much work to be done. |

i like it a lot the way it is, i like the menu at the top
and i like the way it looks with the default grey i have assigned to window backgrounds. it works well. i would keep it neat if it were my project, and use neutral colors. i like the minimalism ![]() |
