I'm working on a site for my mother that will be used with Joomla; it's also going to be part of my professional portfolio, and I want to be thorough. However, I'm much better at logic over layout, so I'm looking for critiques and suggestions on the layout and design.

The site will be about my mother's business, which is about helping women throughout the pregnancy and a bit afterward. I want the site to be "soft" and simple, especially since it's a small business.

The colors, unfortunately, are here to stay; I don't like them too much myself, but they're the colors of the company and something my mom wants to have. I am open to moving around the colors or changing hues, though.

hey Tukaro,

I think the really rigid grid and box around menu tabs doesnt sit well with the 'soft' message that you want to convey.
Think the name is great - but seeing the live version it might be enhanced with just a subtle small tag "because... Baby Matters"
