It is a little 'bland' if you pardon my pun;. Try to create an interface look, more colour and less images, plus don't include stuff for the sake of it.

Are you serious? You want to sell web design? I'll just assume you are joking.

Sorry, but I'm not usually this blunt. If you want a site so you can express your personal opinion, then make it only for that purpose and develop into the best expressive website there is.
But if you want to start a web design business, you'll need to creat an unforgettable web site. With all the competition, it is becoming virtually impossible to create something unique.

Focus on what you want...and don't try to do too many thngs at once in one site.

Good luck.

PS Don't let things at school bother you too much. All of them will seem inconsquential in a few years, or even months.
