Hi, I wonder if somebody could take a look at my site and give me some honest feedback? I spent most of today trying to get it to validate, but there may still be problems somewhere...

You seem to have used images as text when it was not nessersary.

Now that it's all valid, you could try making it accesable as well, if you really want to show off.

Accesablility is basicaly about making sure your site works the same for everyone, including those using screen readers. Section 508 is a good guideline to work by.

i'm on a mac, and the google ads at the top of the screen are overlapping your content

i dont know who else puts this into consideration besides me, but if i can avoid making an image and make whatever i'm trying to make from just code, i'd go with that in a heartbeat.. the opening page needs to be texted words (work with the CSS until it looks exactly like intended, with icons next to it)

i dont mean to sound like a jerk but i've said this to a lot of people when i critique their sites... why am i at your site? is there a quick slogan or sentence you can put below everything on the main page that explains the site's agendas? i understand what its about, but your average web-surfer that runs into the site will have no idea.. evven something as simple as "a site that revolves around my life" after the edd plant dot net up in the title would be cool. great choice of colors! i hope to learn how to work on mysql one day.

i'm attempting to make a flash site that remotes to a php template that runs on a mysql database... i got the biggest headache trying to figure all of this out.. so i give you props on being able to work mysql.

i also love the color scheme. everything is very easy to read and its not too busy or too plain.

My problem at the moment is that I am on a PC with many worms, and we have lost the system restart disc. So consequentially, I've had to lock up everything that tries to access the internet except for Firefox and a few choice applications. I'll have a new PC to myself soon though, and should be able to cross-check it on other browsers.

I've seen it on a mac too, and it doesn't look too great in Safari - but then, it doesn't look to great in IE either. The site /is/ designed for viewing in FireFox. I just have to work on it a bit to get it presentable in other browsers.

I have always wanted to make a page using flash with included content, but I can't find anywhere that tells me how to do this. I am not too familiar with flash just yet.
