hi i got this site on the net only today.like everyone else im also begining from the magic figure '0' .i want ur suggestions on how to attract a crowd to my forum.wats ur opinion on the theme of the site.wat do u suggest i do to get traffic into my site.any and every sugestion is really valuable 2 me.

the site is a community forum site to help people share and solve each others problems and stuff like tat.

And your animated gif (welcome4.gif) could go a little slower.

Logo-wise: i think the word "feelings" could be more present

Personally, I'd kill that animated Welcome GIF entirely. It does nothing for the page, and instead is a distraction that together w/the free domain animation looks like a bad banner add or something.

I'd also make the entrance into the forum much more obvious than the linked bird image. As a new site looking for traffic, you want to give new users an obvious path to the forum since that is why you've put this site up.

It could be as simple as adding a Enter Forums Here >> link underneath your introductory text. Just don't make them have to search for it...

I agree with surfkook, you need to have some kind of text or image that says "here's the forum". My first impression was "what now? what shoud I click?"

I also agree on the welcome gif. There's nothing I hate more than useless gifs - they're not cool ;-)

thnx for ur comments.i have added a text to indicate users to click on the image.personally i feel that without the dove ,and the welcome forum,the page would look very static(im planning to substitue the welcome gif with a flash animation,soon ).thanks again for ur replies.it really helped me gauge my site.bye.

Change that decorative font for "A COMMUNITY FORUM FOR PEOPLE TO SHARE...". and dont use 10 different types of fonts.
