Hey,
I made the skin for http://geekvalley.com . It's mean to be a webmasters' forum, as well as a place for developers and geeks to meet. What do you guys think of the logo? Colors? Forum Titles? Grouping? Thanks! ![]() |

i love the logo.. but i think there's too much green on the page overall. The only place that I personally would lose some green would be the header bars for the categories.

you can try changing the green table headers to a darker shade of green. they are too bright; kinda hard to read the contents.

True, agree with the posters above. The logo looks good, try changing the green to a darker shade of green, may be the one used here at Devshed (see the bgcolor of Quick Reply box)

Ditto on the brightness - not good. Personally, I'm a fan of the multi-colored backdrops as opposed to a solid color. I think it helps break it up a little, a soft pattern, barely visable helps to improve readability. Just remember, the two (or more) colors need to be fairly similar, otherwise the contrast between them ruins the effect.
E.g. a white and black background is awful. Very hard to read, but a light gray and slightly darker gray makes it easy to focus. |

Use the logo colours
I agree with everyone else lose the green on the menus. The logo is cool and the green background. I would use the orange from your logo for the menus this will hold the design together.

Hey Dan, maybe more natural tones would make it more friendly?
