This is my personal site that I did a few months ago. I'd like to know what other's opinions are of the site design and fuctionality. I know there are a few problems, but right now I'm not sure how to fix them.

Comment on whatever you think could be improved. If you have any suggestions as to the problems that I am aware of, let me know those too.

Known Issues
1) Anchors don't work well in mozilla.
Anchors to other areas on the same page, such as in the forum's FAQ section don't work well. The reson is that the header bar is positioned in a fixed spot, and when the browser scrolls the anchor to the top of the page, it scrolls so that it become hidden by my top title bar.
For solutions, I can only think of a couple things.
a) Remove the title bar so that the content is never obstructed.
b) Use a bit of javascript to scroll the page up a bit when a person clicks on a link to an anchor.


2) Print Preview/Printing
Print preview (and thus I assume printing) does not work well at all. The navigation appears twice, beginning and end, and covers up some of the content.

3) Text Zooming
Zooming the text in mozilla will eventually push the left navigation bar out of the view port, and the buttons that get pushed out are no longer accessable. The site does flow ok when zoomed though.

The layout is ok, but it looks cluttered. See if you can do away with anything. It just looks like there are too many little things all around.

Thanks, there are a couple things I can take off (and did). I'll also be taking off the Days til summer counter once it hits zero tomorrow.

I think I'll try to get rid of the top banner some how, not sure what I want to do though. I have a few ideas.

I think if you ditch the summer counter and nerd score you'll be good. The top banner looks good though. Maybe just vertically center the text. Or make the title an image and fancy it up a bit.
