Hi All,
I'm fairly new to the forum, and I recently set up a Cheap Web Hosts Directory aimed at small and/or new businesses. However first impressions from reviewers is that perhaps the site content is too limiting in this respect, and needs to more broad-based with articles on e-commerce and so on. I'd really appreciate some feedback on the site design, content and anything else of interest from you all. The link is: URL Last edited by edwinbrains : April 27th, 2005 at 04:59 PM. |

it seems a little too cluttered with ads, and the information is given to you in a somewhat disorganized way. It looks like it was thrown together in less than a couple of days, but that's just my opinion, try to create a "cleaner" look to it. =) sorry if that was harsh.

Just wanted to let you know that if you resize the window to 600px wide (as I usually do so I can view two IE windows side-by-side), your iPowerWeb banner is brought down to the bottom of the page, with all your main conent below it, leaving a blank conent area above it.
I think this can be correct by making your banner above all three columns. Also, in my opinion, the kind of ads that appear above content distract and annoy me, and I usually don't click them on purpose. I do not want to propagate annoyance. MSN uses them a lot. So your InstantBuzz ad falls in that category. You may want to consider giving more "pizaz" to your site's name on top. Good luck. |

I agree... there are so many ads it's hard to tell where the real content is... If you REALLY NEED that many ads, try organizing them better so they fit in with the design without distracting from the content...

I'm afraid I got the impression that your post was spam, trying to advertise the site more than obtain critiques. So I edited it... |
