This site is still a Work In Progress, and links/forms are not functioning.

Techniques: XML, PHP/MySQL, CSS

I would like some feedback on the design itself. There will be a better banner though.

is a nice way to show appreciation if my suggestion was helpful.

Scriptrequests are not appreciated anywhere. Show input. Do some research. Explain the problem. Post relevant code only.

Look nice.
Probably a bit too much text for a frontpage - but that all depends on what the text is going to be.

I kind of like the current banner

Think you should work some more with the markup.
It is not very semantic.
The way you are using definition list aren't quite correctly.
And you are in my opinion overusing it and using it in place of more suitable elements.
Like in the form where you use dt instead of label.
And in the main body where you really ought to use paragraphs for the text.

Also a definition lists without any dt defintion term does really make sense.

Quote:
Definition lists vary only slightly from other types of lists in that list items consist of two parts: a term and a description. The term is given by the DT element and is restricted to inline content. The description is given with a DD element that contains block-level content.

Also note that you are using the wrong media type with the doctype you have chosen, in xhtml 1.1 you should use application/xhtml+xml not text/html
