Ned Williams is a black country author and historian.

Just need general feedback. I want a basic site with basic information. Just an introduction into his work.

It is a simple site but I don't see anything major wrong with it its just a little plain. You may want to throw some keyword and description meta tags on her.

Also when checked in IE for Mac the two links one the top right move to the left and stack overlapping the title. Who really uses IE Mac but it would probably be worth fixing.

Thanks - I am sorting out the meta tags this week. It's a site I can only dedicate time to if I have the time!

First link looks like you just used the default drupal template. Could try to be a bit more creative with it. And your favicon in the drupal one too.

Yeah, can't really comment on the design as it is almost a vanilla drupal theme using the color module..

You have a typo:

Your 'Ned* link on the wanted list points to a page that is the wanted list (if you know what I mean).

Additionally, I am viewing on an old PC at the moment, and the viewport is only about 780px wide -
do you really need 3 column layout?
is that to counter to the size of the actual content ?
