Please could you Critique the colour scheme and layout, also see the forum and tell us how to improve that.

I do realise that some pages are 404, we are currently working on that problem.

the text up top for pixelgate studios is barely readable. also, you should try some different greens perhaps but thats just my opinion

A couple of comments/questions.

1. Why have two navigation menus? This seems a bit confusing.
2. Like angrylizard said, the pixelgate studios text is barely readable.
3. This is just my opinion, but I hate horizontally scrolling text. What purpose does that scrolling welcome message serve. I'm sure your users know they are welcome at your site. The left menu is labeled navigation, so I'm guess they can figure out how to navigate your site. I would drop that scroller.
4. The coding is horrible, but I guess you don't need to fix it. Maybe keep this in mind for the future.

yes, work on the logo, if i didnt know the name of the site from your post, i wouldn't know the name. I find it looks good, and i find i like that welcome marquee And my personal opinion, maybe you could add a mouseover effect to the links when hovered upon, i think that would work well

the looks are fine, but IMHO don't use frames and get a doctype on there....

1. i can't read your title.

2. get rid of that 1991 scrolling text

3. stop using duplicate menus, go with the top one

4. stop using those google ads, they won't get you a dime.

5. your color scheme is bad because all it is is green. just try new a scheme, add some more colors to it!

you seem to like to put a box with a tab title on everything. It diesn't look good. remove your sidebar, and put a title only on the page being viewed.

6. your affiliates thing on the bottom should just be a row of the little banner - no box around them and no tab-title thing.

use anti-aliasing in the banner and all of your images. cleans things up, especially with the fonts

i'd add some curves to those "folder" tabs. it looks like a crude sketch right now, and having just slight curves instead of a strait 90 degree corner would help in a few spots.

change the navigation font to have more horizontal spacing between the letters, and something a little stronger, so it could match the blocky feeling of the rest of the site

you should remove the scrolling text. it just draws the user's eye away from the content of the site, and they'll have to work to do something as simple as read the navigation
